American Idol’s season 10 auditions began with a band of astounding 26,000 hopefuls in Nashville and Milwaukee. Such hopefuls came out for their shot at the coveted IDOL crown. The tour stopped first at Nashville on July 17 and in Milwaukee in the following days. An astounding 16,000 people gathered at famous Music City Honky Tonks at the first stop and over 10,000 at the Bradley Center on July 21.

Such attendance figures were said to be significantly up on the last few years. Certainly, interest and excitement about the show would be renewed. Nashville and Milwaukee were just two first stops of American Idol auditions. The remaining of the auditions will be New Orleans, East Rutherford, Austin, and San Francisco. Entering its 10th Season, FOX issued a press release with cities and dates for American Idol auditions.
