Baja Golf
Golfing in Baja is one of the main attractions of this place with some of the worlds best golf courses located in this peninsula. The stunning oceanfront courses with desert terrain were designed by some of the best golf course designers resulting in these championship greens. From the US Border going into Mexico is the 50 plus year old Tijuana Golf Club and 20 minutes further away is Real del Mar which is known as a gem. Some of the newer courses are the Baja Country Club with a 12 acre lake and the unique Paraiso del Mar in Magote with 12 holes completely built on the sandbar. Jack Nicklaus designed three golf courses in Los Cabos called the one and only Palmilla, the Puerto los Cabos and Club Campestre. The Attractions of La Playa del Carmen

The Mexican Pipeline or Puerto Escondido lures in the top surfers in the world, being one of the worlds best surfing destination. Puerto Escondido has several beaches where you can go swimming but it is not advisable in Playa Zicatela, the main surfing beach because of strong rip tides and some of the most powerful waves in the world which even bests the famous Hawaii Banzai Pipeline. Another surfing location is The Point where you can also get a fast and challenging surf ride. At the other end of the beach break is the Far Bar that has the most surfers since the water is deeper here compared to the other surfing spots and the break is quite far from the shore. Whale Watching in Mexico
One can never quite describe the awe and wonder you feel at seeing whales frolicking in their natural habitat after your anticipation have built up while scanning the waters looking for these graceful mammals. Gray whales migrate annually every fall from the cold waters of Northern Bering to the Sea of Cortez to give birth and spend winter months in the warm waters of the Pacific that are rich with food. It is best to watch these whales swimming with their babies in Magdalena Bay which is located just a little off the coast of Los Cabos. Although San Ignacio is more famous for whale watching, there is a higher chance of seeing whales in Los Cabos than any other place in Baja during the whale season from end of December to end of March. Strict guidelines are followed during whale watching tours so that the whales are protected. When planning your Mexico vacation, dont fail to include whale watching in your itinerary.
