Heartbroken songs are what you want to sing when you have just broken up with your lover.
They are sad songs and all you want to sing is sad songs. Anything happier will only make you think of the better times with your ex. Try to write your own heartbroken song after you have broken up.
Heartbroken songs go back to when man heard music and realized he could sing, as well as the time he realized what was a broken heart. If a whole song poses you problems, settle for writing a heartbroken poem.
You could also send a letter to your ex, if you think that a song or a poem would not be understood. Should you be able to compose a song that illustrates how you feel, this would be perfect.
You will certainly already know the feeling when you have received one in the past. You may astonish your ex when he receives a heartbreak song. It may make him think about the relationship in his mind and he should appreciate what you have done.
When song writing is your hobby, write the words and look for some music that will fit with it. The words will be easy enough and when it comes to the music, take some theme tune you like and fit the word around it. If you do like song writing, start with some poetry and then find some music to go with it. When you don't compose music, take a tune you like and change the words to fit the music.
Song writing is not for everybody but you can make a choice of songs you like. There is plenty to choose from so pick out those which you prefer. When you listen to them you will probably find their meaning is different to you than what it was before.
Your ex will also probably hear them differently after the break up. Make a CD to give to your ex, containing all the sad songs you can think of and send them with a letter enclosed. You can now choose songs you wish that he hears.
Make your selection carefully as certain songs about a break up may not be the most suitable to include. Select suitable songs and music that illustrate your mood of the moment.
Start with the saddest and end with a love song you particularly like. All the better if it was also a song your ex liked as well, as it will bring back souvenirs of the past you spent together.
Heartbroken songs are designed to help you get over a lost relationship but they can also be useful in helping to bring you both back together again.
