Not too long ago, we came across a town that was really attractive. Sure, it may be an old town, but in all actuality, that is what adds to the beauty of it all. This town was we visited was wonderful and had so much to offer. At one point, it was once the centre of Corwnwall's fishery, which had a working harbor as well as over a dozen fishing boats that were small in size. In fact, it has a tradition of building boats that date all the way back to the year 1745. What town are we talking about? We are talking about Mevagissey, which is located in Cornwall.
If you enjoy fishing, then you and your family will definitely enjoy this town as you can take some great fishing trips to the harbor. There is also a ferry nearby, which you can ride on. A lot of the historical buildings have been made out of slate and cob.
If you are not into fishing, then you do not have to worry about this as there is much more here to do than fish. If you like to shop, then you will be happy when you come across many different workshops, clothes shops and even gift shops. You will also find many wonderful pubs, cafes and galleries. There are also a number of different hotels that you will be able to stay out. Take note that the hotels offer outstanding service. If you like to eat out, then you will come across many fine restaurants that offer great food.
Each year, at the end of June, you will come across Feast Week, which has a ton of activities to offer. During this time, you will find that you are not the only one traveling to Mevagissey as many tourists love the festivals.
