There's a lot that's special about Blue Bell, PA.

Quaintly tucked away northwest of the city of Philadelphia, Blue Bell, PA is a majestic and historic place to live, rich with real estate in every price range.  Blue Bell was originally known as Pigeontown, after the large flocks of the now-extinct passenger pigeons that once gathered there. The town was renamed in 1840 after the historically prominent Blue Bell Inn. The charming enclave is now known for its large executive-style homes, major business parks, small community shopping facilities, and small businesses.

As of the 2000 census, there were 18,562 people, 6,960 households, and 5,206 families residing in Whitpain township (Blue Bell). The population density was 1,436.3 people per square mile. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 93.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.2 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $ 88,933, and the median income for a family was $ 103,613. Males had a median income of $ 68,125 versus $ 44,079 for females. The per capita income for the township was $ 41,739. About 1.7% of families and 3.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.7% of those under age 18 and 3.3% of those age 65 or over.

The city is now known for its exclusive restaurants. Diners travel from far and wide in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware to enjoy the fine food in Blue Bell. From economically-priced 24-hour diners to exquisite four-star restaurants, the old Pigeontown offers food for every size wallet.

Blue Bell merchants are varied and plentiful. From small specialty shops and quaint eateries, to larger convenience retail outlets and exclusive dining, the local merchants give attentive customer service. If you're looking for that special gift or service, surely they'll have something to offer you in your search.

This is how our Christmas went this year: Stayed up "late" on Christmas Eve. As a result, we REALLY slept in--no early risers around here, that's for sure! I like to watch everyone open their presents one by one, so we take turns opening things. Even thought it takes a really long time, it's worth it to me so I can see every reaction! This video shows pretty much everything we did Christmas Day from meals to park time to fun evening activities! Thanks for watching! Don't forget to give us a THUMBS UP!
