This London Youth Hostel offers a total of more than 300 beds in single, double, triple, quad rooms and larger dorms. The whole place has just been refurbished and offers basic but very clean accommodation at bargain prices. There are several bathrooms, which are not in suite but single bathrooms, meaning you have privacy. Several kitchens are also located in the building and with a multitude of shops and supermarkets nearby, you can save money by making your own breakfast too.
Internet access is available against a very small charge in the hostel, both wireless and via a number of internet terminals in the Youth Hostel's lobby.
The hostel is run by the same management as 1 Lexham Gardens Hotel and the location is just perfect; there are no less than three tube stations within walking distance (Earl's Court, High Street Kensington and Gloucester Road) as well as bus stops serving a number of different routes throughout London.
Only five minutes walk away are the major shopping areas Knightsbridge and Kensington High Street. Likewise, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and the West End Theaters are all easy to reach from the hostel.
If you are visiting London on a tight budget but do not want to cut on cleanliness standards and location, then this is the perfect choice for you. With prices starting from a £16.00 per night for a dorm bed and £56 for a double room, this really is great value for very little money.
